Using funds in ways that will directly improve the lives of our clients is something the board of ROAM takes most seriously. Indeed, efficient spending is paramount, as the needs of people with mental disorders are often complex.

In 2006 apart from staff costs ROAM was able to purchase a multifunctional exercise gym, which was assembled on the rooftop of our Darlinghurst property and used by 18 of our youth clientele. Also, in September, we were pleased to host internationally acclaimed speaker and consultant Ron Coleman on the 5th of September at Sydney University. Ron’s inspiring seminar received excellent feedback and attracted visitors from as far a field as Wollongong. This seminar represented a classic example of ROAM commitment to education and mental health promotion.
