These courses are made possible by a generous donation by Toby Smith of “Toby’s Estate Coffees” who ROAM continues to work with in our efforts to provide appropriate employment training for clients.

“Wrapped With Love”

Early in 2006 ago ROAM was contacted by the Darlinghurst chapter of “Wrapped with Love” a sewing group coordinated through ABC radio which hand knits rugs and donates them to people in need. The group was particularly keen to assist ROAM and has sewn 15 rugs, which will be distributed to clients in the coming weeks. This sort of homely touch is an invaluable contribution to the lives of our clients who are attempting to make their first “home” after many years on the streets and in institutions.
